Kapalua Adventure's top priority is the well being of each and every person who takes part in our tours. All aspects of our course and every piece of our equipment are held to the highest standards of safety.
Our adventure guides are thoroughly trained to anticipate your needs and all have been trained as an emergency medical first responder.
Health Recommendations and Physical Requirements:
- Age: 10 years and older
- Weight: 60- 250 lbs.
- Guests should be prepared for some light physical activity. Tours include climbing stairs and walking short distance over uneven terrain.
- Must be able to lift 15 lbs.
- Tours are not recommended for anyone who may have a heart condition, neck/back issues or other medical concerns.
- Not recommended for pregnant women.
- There is no smoking, alcohol, or drug use permitted at anytime prior to, or throughout, the tour.
- Kapalua Adventures is not obligated to complete a tour if participants are found to be endangering the safety of themselves, others or the environment. Refunds will not be given in these situations.
What To Wear and Bring
- Kapalua Adventures provides all the equipment needed to participate in the tours including custom designed harnesses and climbing helmets.
- Required - Closed toe hiking or athletic type footwear - No crocs allowed.
- Be advised that the weather can change quickly so layering clothing is often a good idea.
- Remove hanging or dangling jewelry and rings before attempting the climbing tower.
- There is no storage facility at the Mountain Outpost so please do not bring bags, back packs, large hip packs.
- Kapalua Adventures is not responsible for the loss of bags or loose items such as cameras and sunglasses.
